Privacy Policy

Liink Server and the Liink client apps (together, "Liink") are developed by Oclin. We built Liink so that your production communications stay on network paths you control. This policy explains what the apps do and do not do with your data.
The short version
The Liink apps do not collect, sell, or share personal data with Oclin or third parties. There are no Oclin cloud accounts, in-app analytics, advertising SDKs, or Oclin-operated media servers. A production may create local usernames, PINs or a shared password on its own server Mac; Oclin cannot access them. This website uses aggregate Plausible Analytics as described below.
Data the app handles
- Audio and video. Liink Server captures the physical audio and video inputs selected by the operator. A client captures its microphone while its user talks. This media is forwarded in real time between the server Mac and connected clients. Liink does not record it or send it to Oclin.
- Server configuration. Channel names, listen-line and hardware routes, and any users, PINs or passwords you create are stored locally on the server Mac. This data stays under the server operator's control.
- Connection preferences. The app may remember servers you have connected to and your personal volume settings, stored locally on your own device so you don't have to set them up each time.
Permissions the app requests
- Microphone or audio input — used by clients while a user talks and by Liink Server for selected audio inputs.
- Camera — requested by Liink Server when the operator selects a webcam, UVC or other camera source for a video listen line.
- Local network — used to advertise, discover and connect to Liink Server over Wi-Fi or LAN.
These permissions are used solely to provide intercom functionality over the network path you configure. Liink does not request access to your contacts, location or photo library.
App analytics and advertising
The Liink apps contain no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. No app data is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Website analytics
Liink.pro uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic. A page load sends an analytics request to Plausible. The statistics available to Oclin may include pages viewed, referral sources, approximate country, device type, operating system and browser. Plausible states that it does not use cookies or persistent identifiers and does not track visitors across websites or days. See Plausible's data policy for technical details.
Remote access
If you choose to connect outside the server's local network — for example over a Tailscale VPN or another manual network route — audio and video travel between the server Mac and its clients over that route. Oclin operates no relay or cloud service and is not involved in that traffic.
Children's privacy
Liink is a professional communications tool and is not directed at children. Oclin does not collect personal data from Liink users.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with a new "last updated" date.
